Parallel Charged Planes With An Embedded Gaussian Cylinder
The Gaussian surface encloses no charge, so the net flux through the
surface must be zero. The strong field is directed inward through
the cap near the positive plane, and outward through the cap near
the negative plane, giving a net zero flux.
